Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Mooncast (the "Service"), operated by 深圳 合势必科技有限公司 ("we"). By using the Service you agree to them.

1. What the Service is — and isn't

Mooncast generates AI-assisted Tarot, Western Astrology, Bazi, and Ziwei readings for entertainment and self-reflection only. Outputs are produced by a large language model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or contradictory.

The Service is not professional advice. Do not rely on a reading to make medical, financial, legal, employment, psychological, or other consequential decisions. If you need advice in those areas, consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.

2. Eligibility

You must be the age of majority in your jurisdiction (16 in most of the EU, 14 in mainland China). One person per account; you are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not submit content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexual, violent, or that infringes others' rights.
• Do not enter someone else's personal/birth information without their consent.
• Do not attempt to bypass our rate limits, reverse-engineer the API, or scrape outputs at scale.
• Do not use the Service to generate content for illegal purposes.

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

4. AI-generated content

All readings are generated by an AI model. Outputs may resemble similar text produced for other users. You retain whatever rights apply to the text under local law; we make no claim of authorship over your specific reading, and grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use it for personal, non-commercial purposes.

5. Free tier and paid plans

The free tier currently allows 3 readings per day for signed-in users and 2 per day for anonymous visitors (per IP). Limits may change. Paid Pro plans, when offered, will display the price and billing terms before you confirm. We do not auto-renew without explicit consent.

6. Refunds

While we are in free / beta the only paid checkouts are demo. Once real payment is enabled: monthly Pro is refundable within 7 days of the initial purchase if you have generated fewer than 5 Pro readings; yearly Pro is refundable within 14 days under the same condition. Email support@mooncast.vip to request a refund.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your account page or by emailing us. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, abuse, or legal reasons, and may terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties (merchantability, fitness, non-infringement), and our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 50 if no payment was made.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict-of-law rules). Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Shenzhen, unless mandatory local consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.

10. Changes

We will update the "Last updated" date when these Terms change. Material changes may be notified by in-app banner or email.
